The Club currently operates two levels of membership. Full membership requires proposal and seconding from 2 full members and Committee approval. This gives any applicant full voting rights in the club.

The Club is currently operating an Associate membership scheme where full members can propose friends and colleagues who can then access the Club after purchase of a key. These members have the same rights of access as full members but do not have any financial or voting rights in the Club.

The club also occasionally rewards prominent long term members or outstanding local sporting figures Honorary Membership which is granted for life. This accolade has been offered and accepted by prominent figures such as Sir Alex Ferguson and Doug Sanders, not because of their fame but because of their input to youth sporting activities in the Aberdeen area.
