The club also occasionally rewards prominent long term members or outstanding local sporting figures Honorary Membership which is granted for life. This accolade has been offered and accepted by prominent figures such as Sir Alex Ferguson and Doug Sanders, not because of their fame but because of their input to youth sporting activities in the Aberdeen area.
